Recently, with the situation being what it is, this artist has had more time than he has ever had to stop and reflect on his life, on his accomplishments and where he will be going from now on. I have been wanting to be more organized and consistent then ever. The addition here is that I am something like a procrastinator or should I say that I have adopted the rabbit style of life.
And what is that you may ask! Well A rabbit will grab a piece of carrot, eat a little then go to the lettuce, eat some of that then turn to the grass lying there and eat some of that, never finishing anything and having ten projects at the same time. That is me.
The plan was to display my older paintings on-line in a manner where many people could have a look at them. And so here it is my Past Lives - Vies Antérieures in form of a 3Dimension show. You will find the link to it right under this paragraph. With that in mind there is always a small doubt concerning the fact that in the artist’s mind these are old and therefore, not so important. Considérant la situation pandémique actuelle, j’ai dernièrement eu plus de temps que jamais pour réfléchir è ma vie, mes réalisations et ce que j’ai envie de faire à partir de maintenant. Le but ultime étant d’être mieux organisé et plus cohérent dans mon approche artistique. J’avoue ici que je suis quelque peu “procrastinateur » à mes heures, ou devrais-je dire que j’ai adopté le style de vie du lapin.
Cette phrase suscite sûrement chez vous quelque questionnement à savoir ce que cela veut bien dire.
C’est qu’un lapin grignote à droite et gauche selon ce qui se présente devant lui : un morceau de carotte, un peu de laitue, une brindille qui s’offre à lui, sans jamais finir quoi que ce soit. Il m’arrive d’avoir dix projets sur la table que je grignote comme un lapin.
L’un des projets dont j’ai avalé un morceau et que j’ai laissé en plan est de mettre en ligne les plus anciennes toiles de ma production de manière à en faire une rétrospective exhaustive. Aujourd’hui j’ai achever ce projet. Son nom : Past Lives - Vies Antérieures. Il a trouvé la place sans une application permettant le 3Dimensions (voyez le lien ci-bas). Il subsiste toujours un petit doute dans l’esprit de l’artiste qui voit ces toiles plus anciennes comme étant peut-être moins importantes.
